With its subtle blend of flavours, gastronomy is St Martin’s jewel.
Spicy sweetness. Peppers, annattos, chayotes, fishes, lobsters and shellfish, into famous chefs’ hands, play a leading role in a typical, unparalleled gastronomy. Bars or renowned restaurants, yesteryear St Martin, with its traditional and coloured “cases”, became, with the passing decades, the capital of the gastronomy in the Caribbean.
St Martin is truly unique for its rich and long tradition of cuisine excellence. Truly cosmopolitan, the island adopted, some times even adapted, cooking of many nations.
