Baie Lucas
This pretty and often deserted palm-tree lined beach is just a stone’s throw away from the Dutch side of the island. It’s a real treat for free divers who love exploring the coral reefs. Please note that the sea is prone to swells and therefore the sea is often rough. Please be careful when swimming.Baie Lucas, on the coast and to the north of Oyster Pond Marina, is the last (or first) beach on the French side. It’s also a meeting place for free-diving enthusiasts who like to explore the coral reefs. This unusual and traditional sandy beach is often uncrowded because of the Atlantic Ocean swells and the easterly wind. Nevertheless, it always amazes its visitors with its turquoise waters and its incredible sunsets with shimmering colors. Create beautiful and relaxing moments far from the crowd in the peaceful neighborhood of Oyster Pond. Between land and sea, you can wander from rock to rock at low tide.
