SXM PARACHUTE
The Caribbean and its translucent waters are a wonder to behold from above. Between November and April, combine exploring the beauty of St. Martin and heart-pumping thrills with SXM Parachute. You'll feel like a bird soaring in the sky above the island's incredible landscapes.
Sylvie and Marc Moreau are parachuting professionals who specialize in tandem jumps (French Civil Aviation certification). After a short debrief on the ground to prepare you for the different phases of the jump, you will be invited to embark aboard the Cessna 206 G for a 20-minute ride. You will have plenty of time to admire the landscape and feel the first rush of adrenaline aboard. It’s time to get ready, because you’ll be free-falling nearly 2 miles above ground, and at more than 120 mph! The free-fall lasts from 35 to 50 seconds, then the parachute opens for a 5 to 7-minute descent before a soft landing.
To take part in this experience, you must be 12 years old, 4 ft 2 inches tall and weigh at least 88 lbs. A doctor’s note is required for those over the age of 65.
