THÉÂTRE LA CHAPELLE
Théâtre La Chapelle is a drama center where the performing arts are the star of the show every weekend and during workshops. The theater is home to diverse and exciting performances, exploring a wide range of genres to pay homage to all forms of theater. Audiences have been treated to a variety of creations by the resident Les Apatrides company, including classical works such as Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Racine’s Andromaque, boulevard theater, contemporary black theater (Bluebeard’s Wives, Sodome, My Love), musicals like Starmania, as well as contemporary comedy and children’s plays.
Théâtre La Chapelle also hosts traveling performances, including one-man shows and plays that were discovered in France during the Festival Off d’Avignon. At Théâtre La Chapelle, you can also catch improv shows and open-mike nights.
All tickets are on sale at www.theatresxm.fr.
Théâtre La Chapelle is supported by the Fondation de France, the French Ministry of Culture, the Prefecture of St. Martin, the European Regional Development Fund, and sponsorships.
