Burgeaux Beach

This lovely cove between Simpson Bay and Maho Beach is dotted with stunning abodes that have an extraordinary view of the Caribbean Sea. This narrow strip of sand is lined with rocks, making swimming access somewhat difficult. The choppy waves here are a favorite with surfers.

Just after Simpson Bay and Pointe Burgeaux, there’s this rocky beach that can be reached via a winding path in the bordering housing lot. These lavish villas have direct access to this public beach, but it is open to all. Burgeaux Beach is much loved by surfers when the water is choppy. When the water is calmer, snorkeling enthusiasts adore exploring the area. It’s home to a wide variety of shellfish and urchins.
