LA PLAYA ORIENT BAY

This 40-seat restaurant wins hearts with its warm welcome. Tropicana proposes traditional French cuisine with a few Caribbean touches to evoke the flavors of the sun. Among the appetizers, the chef has created a sweet potato Crab Parfait with a smattering of citrus fruits. It’s delicious and has lots of character. Although the specials change every day (which is an excellent reason to keep coming back to this friendly restaurant), you just have to try the menu's signature dishes. You can stay in the West Indies with the Banana Crusted Snapper and Colombo Cream, or you can head back to France with the Pork Tenderloin and Brie Crisp or the Black Pepper Crusted Beef Filet.

If you are still hungry, Tropicana’s pastry chef will tempt you with his house desserts of the day such as the Vacherin, the Madagascar Vanilla Crème Brûlée, or the incomparable Chocolate Mousse.

The Tropicana is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
