Les Délices Créoles

Les Délices Créoles is a choice venue for tasting local food during your stay in Marigot. Open from Monday to Saturday from 6.45am to 3 pm, the restaurant serves a traditional breakfast with tea or coffee, accompanied by its famous Journey Cake. This little round bread, whose recipe is one of St. Martin’s secrets, is a local specialty that you can’t miss.

At lunchtime, Les Délices Créoles offers set menus with traditional Caribbean dishes, such as oxtail, chicken colombo and fish court-bouillon. On the a la carte menu, you’ll also find traditional dishes that are favorites on the islands: the famous acras de morue (codfish balls), galette de crabe (crab cakes), or a Creole platter filled with delicious specialties: stuffed chayote squash, acras, Creole black pudding, conch meat. Other dishes served here will give you a good sample of Caribbean cuisine, for example Creole shrimps, fried red snapper, grilled ribs, and more. The restaurant also offers burgers and fries, chicken or seafood fettuccine, as well as local salads with conch or lobster, which are so fresh, they’re a delight!
